Men’s health week 15-21 June 2020
Whether it’s to keep up with the kids, be there for family and friends or start your own adventure — the importance of having good health is unique to everyone.
To make sure you’re able to do the things that are important to you, you need to look after your health.
This doesn’t just mean fixing problems as they come up. It means taking action to look after yourself as a whole. This includes looking after your reproductive and sexual health.
Talking about sexual health can sometimes feel awkward.
Maybe there are things you have been curious about for some time. Or perhaps recent developments in your sexual health have you a little concerned.
Starting these conversations can be tricky. And sometimes they don’t seem worth a trip to the doctors.
Healthy Male is making it easy to have these conversations.
This Men’s Health Week, Healthy Male is hosting a number of free activities to give you an opportunity to ask Australia’s leading health experts, clinicians, scientists and educators questions about your reproductive and sexual health.
What’s more, you can remain anonymous if you prefer.
One of these forums, for example, is being held on Reddit’s AmA (Ask Me Anything) platform on the 17th June. This is an open Q&A interactive interview where you can type in questions anonymously, and receive answers from health experts in male fertility, reproductive and sexual health. This will be accessible via Reddit from 12pm-6pm AEST. Find out more here.
Another Q&A session will cover treatments for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and ejaculation problems. To find out more, join Dr Gideon Blecher on 19 June, and ask questions through the comments on Zoom, FaceBook Live or YouTube videos. Find out more here.
